TOOLS » SUMMER WRITING |
|
We all know children lose literacy skills over the summer. But skill loss in one area of literacy can be avoided if students are encouraged to write over the summer. Now, Writing A–Z can help.
By using the Summer Writing resources, students are able to practice several essential skills in a variety of ways. When completed by students over the summer, these materials also serve as great getting-to-know-you activities during that first week of the next school year. A tip sheet for parents, also included, provides them with concrete ways to support their child(ren)'s progression in writing--both during the summer and throughout the entire year!
